After living some of her earliest years in England, Dawn was raised primarily along the Emerald Coast and received a B.A. from the University of Florida in 1996. After graduating from Stetson University College of Law in 1999, Dawn moved back to the Emerald Coast to work for a local law firm.

In the spring of 2002 Dawn assisted with the formation of a local real estate company and in November of 2002 she joined Southern Escrow & Title, LLC, as general counsel and Vice-President. There she directed the commercial closing department and served as the exchange facilitator for Southern Exchange Service, LLC. She also independently operated her solo practice, Dawn E. Larsh, P.A.

In June 2006 she joined Matthews & Hawkins, P.A., where she is a member of the transactional team and serves as liaison to Destin Land & Title, Inc., for project coordination. In addition, Dawn oversees the operation of Mississippi Land & Title, LLC, a closing and escrow company authorized to do business in Mississippi.
